- I'm old enough to know better. I live somewhere in England, too far from the sea - and I'm cataloguing all the books in the library of a Dominican friary. Like any good librarian, I do take my hair down and my glasses off after work, and dress in anything from jeans to shalwar qameez to fishnets. And I do NOT shuffle around "sh"ing people - I raise a teacher's eyebrow. Finally, ask any of my clerical friends - I am NOT a good Catholic girl...I ask too many questions and refuse to take authority seriously.
